DODA, May 10: A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kandoth area, falling under the jurisdiction of Thathri police station.
As per police sources, a man identified as Manjeet Singh (28), son of Gambhir Singh of Bhela, had gone to attend a marriage function at Kandoth.
After attending the function, Manjeet Singh along with others went to sleep. In the morning, Manjeet Singh was found unconscious and was rushed to District Hospital Doda, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites after conducting autopsy.
According to family members, the deceased was suffering from some heart ailment.
However, Thathri police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC.
