JAMMU, May 10: Jourian police arrested a biker along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, police team from police post Jourian during patrolling intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02X-0293.
During checking, police recovered 60 pouches of illicit liquor from the vehicle and arrested the biker.
The accused has been identified as Dalip Singh, son of Raghubir Singh of Danwal.
A case under FIR number 77/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Jourian police post and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Jourian police post SI Sukhbir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh, Incharge SP Rural Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
