JAMMU, May 10: A meeting of All J&K Shri Sad Guru Kabir Sabha (SSGKS), Jammu was held in the premises of Kabir Mandir, Janipur regarding celebration of Kabir Jayanti falling on June 2.
The meeting was attended by all the office bearers of central executive body, district presidents and block presidents.
After thorough discussion it was unanimously decided that this year Kabir Jayanti will be celebrated on 2nd June jointly with Bhagat Maha Sabha and Megh Sudhar Sabha.
In the meeting the agenda for the general elections of the State executive body was also discussed. President of the Sabha, FC Bhagat pressed for early elections as admissible under the constitution of the Sabha.
Among others who attended the meeting includes GR Bhagat, Girdhari Lal, Prof Ashok Bhagat, Pradeep Kumar, Dev Raj, Babu Ram, Chaman Lal, Dr Surjeet Bhagat.
