JAMMU, Oct 27: A man died this evening under mysterious circumstances at his residence here at New Plot.
Quoting the family members of the deceased, a police spokesperson said that the man identified as Romesh Kumar (36) son of Sant Ram, a resident of New Plot, in a drunken condition fell from the bed on which he was sleeping at his residence and fell unconscious.
“In unconscious condition the man was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead”, he said adding the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and investigations started.
