JAMMU, Dec 2: Domana Police detained a man along with 144 kilograms of polythene bags.
As per police sources, acting swiftly on the information received through reliable sources, a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma reached on the spot and detained one person namely Deepak Gupta, son of Ramesh Chander of Poonch Lane near Cricket Academy with 10 sacks of banned polythene bags weighing 144 kilograms.
Later, the Divisional Officer Pollution Control committee Jammu North was informed.
After the arrival of said team, the seized materials along with the said detained person was handed over to the team for further legal action.
