JAMMU, Dec 2: Channi Himmat Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 15 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Deepak Katoch laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 15 grams heroin from the possession ofthe person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Fiaz Ahmed, son of Gulam Ali of Lower Ragoora District Jammu.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started.
The overall arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO City East Sajad Sarwar.
