MENDHAR, Feb 9: A villager was crushed to death when he got trapped in a thrashing machine at village at Niaka Majiari in Balakote area today.
Reports said the mishap took place when 29 year-old Moulvi Sarfraz Ahmed Qureshi, son of Haji Manzoor Ahmed of Niaka Majiari was busy in thrashing paddy bundles in the machine. He got trapped in the machine and reportedly died on the spot due to excessive bleeding. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
