RAJOURI, Dec 2: An elderly person was died after he allegedly consumed some poisonous stuff at his home at village Hasplot in Thanamandi today.
Official sources said that Wazir Hussain (65), son of Mohd Din, resident of Hasplote, consumed some poisonous substance at home and was rushed to CHC Thannamandi where he was declared brought dead by doctors.
As the death occurred under suspicious circumstances, the police has launched inquest proceedings into the matter. The body after postmortem was handed over to the family.
