JAMMU, Sept 14: Channi Himmat police has booked a man for illegally renting out his plot to Rohingyas.
As per police sources, a case under FIR Number 104/17 under Section 188 RPC has been registered against Jagdish Chander, son of late Munshi Ram, a resident of village Ladana, tehsil Ramnagar, district Udhampur, at present Thunger Pulli Channi Rama for illegally renting out his plot to Rohingyas at Channi Rama.
“The Rohingyas had built temporary jhuggies in the plot and the owner of the plot had not informed this to the police thereby floating the norms issued by the Government”, they said, adding that further investigation into the case is going on.
