SAMBA, Apr 4: A man has been booked for not depositing his licensed weapon in Bari Brahmana Police Station even after order issued by District Magistrate Samba and subsequent notices served to him.
An order in this regard was issued by District Magistrate Samba and all the licensed weapon holders were asked to deposit their weapons in local police stations in view of forth coming Parliamentary polls.
Although majority of licensed weapon holders got deposited their weapons in Police Stations but one persons paid no attention to the order even after police served them reminder through notices.
Taking strong note it, Bari Brahmana Police booked a person identified as Mohammad Rafiq, son of Abdul Majid, a resident of Rajeev Colony.
A case under FIR Number 45/19 under section 188 RPC r/w 30 Arms Act has been registered at Bari Brahmana Police Station and investigation started.
