UDHAMPUR, Aug 17: A young man attempted suicide by consumes some poisonous substance at his residence in village Dudu, here last night.
According to the Police report, Bihari Lal (32), son of Raj Kumar of Dudu, consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances. The family members noticed him in serious condition and vomiting. They rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained as statement of Raj Kumar was not yet taken in view of his critical condition. Dudu Police has registered the case in this connection.
