JAMMU, July 25: Police arrested a man for selling illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary under the supervision of SP headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal conducted raid in village Badyal Kazian and apprehended a person, who was selling illicit liquor pouches. Ten illicit liquor pouches were recovered from the possession of the man.
The arrested person has been identified as Raj Kumar alias Raja, son of Balwant Raj of Badyal Kazian.
A case under FIR Number 163/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at RS Pura police station and investigation started.
