JAMMU, Aug 24: Pacca Danga police arrested a man along with heroin.
As per police sources, a team from Pacca Danga police station during patrolling near Dogra Hall asked a pedestrian to stop for checking.
On seeing police cops, the persons tried to escape from the spot, but the cops chased and nabbed him.
During checking, police recovered 10 grams heroin from the possession of the man and arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Taj, son of Mohammad Sadiq, a resident of District Poonch.
A case under FIR Number 111/16 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Pacca Danga police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Ajay Bhat made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
