NEW DELHI, July 14: Barring a rise in malka prices on mild demand from retailers, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.
Marketmen attributed the rise in malka prices to some demand from retailers.
In the national capital, malka local and best quality traded higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,100-4,400 and Rs 4,200-4,500 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal): urad Rs 4,000-5,400, urad Chilka (local) Rs 4,900-5,000, urad best Rs 5,000-5,500, Dhoya Rs 5,450-5,650, Moong Rs 5,000-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,600-5,800, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,200-6,700 and best quality Rs 6,700-6,900.
Masoor small Rs 3,700-4,100, bold Rs 3,850-4,150, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,400-4,800, best quality Rs 4,500-4,900, Malka local Rs 4,100-4,400, best Rs 4,200-4,500, Moth Rs 3,550-3,950, Arhar Rs 3,900 Dal Arhar Dara Rs 5,400-7,300.
Gram Rs 4,000-4,050, Gram dal (local) Rs 4,300-4,700, best quality Rs 4,700-4,800, Besan (35 kg), Shakti bhog Rs 1,880, Rajdhani Rs 1,880, Rajma Chitra Rs 6,250-8,450, Kabuli Gram small Rs 4,750-5,550, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 3,400-3,600, Peas white Rs 3,550-3,600 and green Rs 3,650-3,750.
