JAMMU, Jan 21: To commemorate the 151st birth anniversary  of Sher-e-Duggar,  Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, founder of Mahajan Sabha and 128th birth anniversary  of Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan,  the first Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir State, the Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha is going to organize  Mahajan Parivar Millan  function  on 28th January, 2018 at Mahajan  Bhawan Shalamar Road,  Jammu.
This was informed by Ramesh Chander Gupta, president of the Sabha, while talking to media persons, here today.
The function will be presided over by former Union Minister Prof Chaman Lal Gupta,   Mahajan Rattan T R Gupta and Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta while Jangi Lal Mahajan, president Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha will be the chief guests on the occasion. MLA Rajesh Gupta, MLA Pawan Gupta, MLC Naresh Gupta and MLC Vibodh Gupta will be the special guests.
The highlight of the function would be that Mahajan Rattan  T R  Gupta  will  donate  a  new ambulance  at the  disposal of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha for use by the Mahajan  Community  and other  needy persons in emergency.
Besides, the members of the Mahajan community who are holding prestigious posts in Government services and have earned a good name by doing social services and excelled high status in various fields will be honoured. The students who have secured high positions in their academic examinations and sports activities will also be honoured.  Members of the community who have undergone ideal marriage without dowry will also be honoured on the occasion.
Ramesh Chander Gupta appealed to all the members of the Mahajan community to participate in the said Mahajan Parivar Millan in large number to give traditional message of love, respect, brotherhood and unity of the Mahajan community.
The members of the Sabha,  who were present in the press conference,  included Yash Paul Gupta, Chander Mohan Gupta, Om Parkash Gupta, Ram Sarup Gupta, Shiv Partap Gupta, Om Parkash Gupta, Sanjay Mahajan, Aman Gupta, Ravi Rohmetra, Dr  Mohan Lal  Gupta, Arun Gupta, Mukesh Gupta, Yash Paul Gupta and C P  Gupta.
