Madan seeks another term to serve people

JAMMU, Apr 3 : Coalition candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency  Madan Lal sought vote for another term to serve the people.  Addressing a public meeting at Mishriwala he said that on the basis of his performance as MP, he desires another term as MP to resolve the issues of the people which remained unheard. He said during the last two tenures, he tried his best to raise & resolve  the issues pertaining to the constituency such as long pending issues like one time settlement of refugees, Jammu-Poonch Railway line, 73rd Amendment to strengthen PRIs, providing LoC like facility to other border areas of the State, preservation and protection of Heritage, Culture etc.
He said that UPA Government also passed many historical bills in the Parliament like MGNREGA, Food Security Bill,  Lokpal Bill, NRHM, Vendors Protection Bill, RGAY, RTI, Land Acquisition Bill, Adhaar, Udaan, Himmayat and many more for the benefit of the people.
Maintaining  that the efforts were also made by him for equitable development of Jammu region and also tried to make contribution towards peace, prosperity and progress of the people of the area. Mr Sharma said that the country has witnessed tremendous development in all spheres of life under the UPA regime in the past 10 years including J&K.
He cautioned the people against malicious campaign launched against UPA Government. He said that there was a need of strengthen parties like Congress at National level to encouraging democratic and secular forces.  He said that the politics of the hatred is a dangerous campaign for the country and urged the people to reject the communal and divisive forces and strengthen the secular and progressive forces in order to strengthen the unity and integrity of the nation and the State.
Prominent among other present on the occasion includes Sarpanch Shamsher Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Gurdev Singh, Raj Dev Singh, Kulwant Singh, Balwant Singh , Chanchala Devi, Sukhdev Singh and Raman Sharma.
