JAMMU, May 8: MLA R.S Pura, Dr. Gagan Bhagat held a meeting with the locals of Village Banota and Salehar regarding the issues of damage caused to roads in the respective villages.
While interacting with the villagers at Village Salehar, he assured them that very soon the Macadamization work will be started on the Salehar-Rathana road which is very important link from the border villages to Bishnah town.
He also informed them that in the R.S Pura Constituency the road infrastructure has been constructed within a short span of two years and record Macadamization has been done as compared to the adjoining constituencies of Bishnah and Suchetgarh. He further said that he is fully aware that people have to face hardships due to these damaged roads but as the Secretariat has been opened at Srinagar from today the sanction for blacktopping will be issued soon since it has been conveyed to the concerned Ministry.
