UDHAMPUR, May 31: Aggrieved over the worst condition of road, locals of the Sangam Vihar Colony, Ward number 21, Dandyal, today protested against the Public Works (R&B) Department and district administration.
Shouting slogans against the concerned authorities, they were demanding black topping of the road.
The protesting people alleged that despite repeated pleas, no action by the district administration and PWD (R&B) was taken to repair the road connecting CEO Office and Sangam Vihar Colony, Dandyal in Ward number 21.
“The road turns muddy during rains thus inviting accidents and it becomes impossible even to walk on this stretch,” they said and threatened to gherao the officers if the black topping work is not started immediately.
