JAMMU, Feb 12: A meeting of All J&K Electrical Department Linemen and Workers Union of Jammu province was held under the chairmanship of Tara Chand at Nai Basti Jammu.
The meet demanded that there must be a Welfare Fund as well as Risk Allowance to the Linemen of the Electric Department. Besides, the Union also demanded that the compensation cases must be speeded up so that the victims may get relief.
During the meeting, the Union also formed its unit of Gandhi Nagar Division number II with the office bearers Ravinder Kumar Goswami, Janak Raj, Girdhari Lal, Darshan Lal, Prem Lal, Kala Ram, Gian Chand and Prem Nath.
