LIC introduces Aadhar Shila, Aadhar Stambh plans

JAMMU, Apr 24: LIC of India introduced two new products namely Aadhar Shila and Aadhar Stambh thereby increasing its number of available products to 25. Aadhar Shila policy is exclusively designed for ladies only.
Aadhar Card is mandatory for both of above policies. Age Eligibility under both the plans is 8 years to 58 years and policy term is 10 to 20 years. Sum Assured under both policies is 75000 to 3 Lakh and 10% extra risk cover is available under Aadhar Shila as it specially designed for ladies.
Both the policies are available without any medical checkup.
Liquidity under the plan is available through Loans. LIC’s Aadhar Shila and Aadhar Stambh both are attractive plans bearing multiple features like Auto Cover and Extra risk cover which are suitable for securing financial planning for individuals and family.
Speaking on the occasion, Senior Divisional Manager of Srinagar Division T S Bali communicated to the media persons about the performance of Srinagar Division that Division (which covers entire J&K) has completed 118957 policies and procured 213.77 Crores of fresh premium in the financial year 2016-2017. In this way Srinagar Division was able to achieve the Budget for 2016-17 allocated by the corporation for J&K State. Bali further said that Srinagar Division was 4th Division in North Zone after Delhi Division which could achieve its financial year budget that too before 31-3-2017.
On the occasion Sh. Vivek Sharma (Marketing Manager) was also present who told the media persons that on the other facet of performance, i.e. Claim performance, in 2016-2017 Srinagar Division had performed exceptionally well by settling a total of 2582 Death Claims which amounts to Rs 42.07 crore and 110707 Maturity Claims of Rs 531 Crore. Further he said that in Agency organization also Srinagar Division has tremendously well and recorded 10% growth and in the end of financial year 2016-17. There were more than 6100 agents against 5500 agents in the beginning of financial year 2016-17.
