Library inaugurated

JAMMU, May 13: Management Committee of Gurudwara Singh Sabha/Yadgar Thakur Bhai Rocha Singh, Sector 14 Nanak Nagar in coordination with Harbhajan Singh Tegh has established a library in the Gurudwara complex in memory of Late Sant Singh Tegh freedom fighter.
Mahant Manjit Singh of Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch inaugurated the library in the presence of prominent persons including Inder Singh Corporator JMC, Jagmohan Singh President GSS, Dr Surjit Singh General Secretary GSS, Anil Gupta Vice-President Mohalla Welfare Committee Sec-12 and Harbhajan Singh Tegh, son of Late Sant Singh Tegh freedom fighter along with his family members and relatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Manjit Singh recalled the sacrifices of Sant Singh Tegh. He further said that he was a noble personality, his sacrifices for the Panth were great, Sikh people and the nation cannot forget and should not forget Sant Singh Tegh freedom fighter who worked for the welfare, progress and development of Sikh society in particular and others.
In the end, Dr Surjit Singh General Secretary of the Gurudwara presented vote of thanks.
