Lal Singh for early functioning of hospital at Jagti township

JAMMU, July 16: Ch Lal Singh Health, Medical Education and ARI & Trainings Minister today visited Jagti township and took stock of the hospital which is under construction there.
The Minister took serious exception to the delay in construction of hospital which has not been completed for last over four years. The Minister gave instructions to the relief authorities to intensify the work on the hospital and complete the same before August 10, 2015, so that it may be inaugurated by him on August 15.
The Minister, who was accompanied by Director Health Services Jammu and other officers, gave directives to Director Health to ensure the supply of medicines in Jagti township hospital by tomorrow positively as the hospital was facing the shortage of medicines.
Ch Lal Singh also assured the Camp inmates that an Ambulance will be provided to the hospital by tomorrow by the Health Department and he gave on-spot directives to the Health Authorities in this regard.
He also issued instructions to the Director Health to deploy another doctor to the hospital as demanded by the camp inmates.
Earlier, BJP Kashmir Displaced led by T N Bhat, its president discussed the problems of the camp inmates and the migrants putting up in other camps with the Minister and expressed the hope that Mr Lal Singh will look into these problems. Mr Bhat was accompanied by Virender Kuchroo, P L Dhar, Bansi Bhat and Roshan Raina.
