RAMBAN, June 28: A pedestrian lady received injuries after she was hit by a tempo traveler in tehsil Banihal.
As per police sources, a pedestrian identified as Saima Begum (25), wife of Abdul Hamid Naik, a resident of Phagoo Doligam, tehsil Banihal received injuries, when she was hit by a Srinagar bound tempo traveler bearing registration number JK20-3727 near J&K Bank, Banihal.
The injured lady has been admitted in Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where she was undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
A case under FIR Number 91/17 under Section 279 and 337 RPC has been registered at Banihal police station and the accused driver has been arrested, who has been identified as Sanjay Sharma, son of Sham Lal, a resident of Devka, tehsil Banihal.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
