UDHAMPUR, Nov 14: A young labourer committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree near his house at village Galiote Panchari in District Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Mohamed Mirza (23), son of Shah Mohammad of Galiote in Panchari. He was working as a laborer and had been married two years ago.
Reports said that he came out of the house for some work last night and did not return. The family members found him hanging from a tree near the house under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed, Panchari police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to PHC Panchari for postmortem.
Police has registered the case under Section 174 and further investigation is going on.
