JAMMU, May 16: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) criticized the coalition Government of PDP and BJP which denied permission to social organization “Youth for Nation” to hoist tricolour and categorically told them not to proceed to Srinagar for hoisting National Flag at historical Lal Chowk on May 16th.
In a statement, KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri stated that denying the permission to “Youth for Nation” for hoisting National Flag at Lal Chowk is to serve a message to anti-national forces in Kashmir that nationalist forces are united against their acts.
He stated that it is shocking that “Nationalist” BJP which is part of the Government in Jammu and Kashmir maintained criminal silence over the issue despite of hard reaction by separatists, militants and in particular United Jihad Council and the reason thereof for denying permission to the “Youth for Nation” for hoisting National Flag at Lal Chowk, the party leaders play prank to divert the attention from the issue which was once raised by the BJP party in 2011 when NC Government as well as separatists denied them to hoist the flag at the same place at Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
He said that coalition Government in the State of J&K has completely surrendered before the separatists and appeasing attitude towards Pakistan as well as separatists has proved that BJP is not different from Congress. This act of BJP-PDP Government has demoralized the nationalist forces of country in general and State of J&K in particular.
