JAMMU, Jan 17:- President Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF), Shadi Lal Pandita along with the victims of unlawfully sealed quarters of migrants at Jagti township met former Union Minister and AICC in charge J&K Affairs, Bharat Sinh Solanki and president JKPCC, Vikar Rasool Wani here, today and appraised them about the burning issues of Kashmiri Pandit migrants.
They alleged undue harassment through the hands of Relief Department by their unlawful actions of sealing and clandestine allotment of the quarters already allotted and occupied by the allotees. Jagti township was constructed under Dr Manmohan Singh Government but present administration especially Relief Department is harassing the allottees, they told Solanki.
They also raised the demand for enhancement of relief amount of Rs. 13000/- to Rs. 25000/- per family, compensation for loss of immoveable properties, jobs for unemployed displaced youth and other demands.
Solanki after hearing them assured that Congress party will raise these issues and also will highlight these burning demands in the Parliament.
