JAMMU, Nov 21: Sanjivani Sharda Kendr, Bohri and Zeishtha Devi Prabandhak Committee, (ZDPC) Kashmir jointly organized a Koshur speaking workshop-cum-symposium today.
Senior poets, writers and artists viz. PN Shad, JN Sagar, Santosh Shah ‘Nadaan’, Dr Bansi Lal “Bansi”, PN Raina, Ashok Dhar “Gowhar”, Tej Sagar and BL Koul “Deep” participated in the symposium and held individual workshops for young children in various aspects viz. Grandh (Numbering System ), Lall Vaakh, Preach/Idioms, Leela/Song, etc.
JN Sagar explained in depth the importance of “Maaji Zevv-Mother Tongue” especially while in exile, while Gowhar from Jagti stressed the need of grooming right child while young and developing a mechanism to encourage the future generation for the cause. “Deep”, Co-Author of the recently published “Koshur Qaida” introduced the same to the parents and children present and “Shad” explained few Lall Vakhs and Hainzai Notes to the audience.
Lime Light of the occasion was the declaration of hosting Koshur Contest by Heemaa Public School, Jagti by Sanjani Bhat and Roshan Lal, who promised to provide all support and create a “Koshur Nourishing Centre” there till then.
BB Bhat, President ZDPC Kashmir and Dr Ramesh Razdan, SSK Bohri reiterated commitment to the overall “Koshur Mission”.
Dr Arvind Karwani, Dy CEO SMVD Shrine Board, Raj Nehru, Vice-Chancellor, Haryana State Skill Development University were also present on the occasion and stressed the need of addition of You-Tube and Website facilities to the Koshur Mission in future.
