Kishtwar killings’ probe goes to NIA

Jammu, Nov 27: The Union Minsitry of Home Affairs today handed over investigations into the killings of BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
An order to this effect was issued by the MHA today.
The NIA will now register a FIR into the killings and set up a team for invtestigations, which were being conducted by a special Investigating Team (SIT) of Kishtwar police.
The NIA was presently assisting Kishtwar police in the investigations in Parihar brothers’ killing.
The BJP leader and his brother were gunned down by two militants in Kishtwar town on November 1.
