POONCH, Nov 16: A young girl kidnapped from Mandi area of Poonch was recovered by police from Pancheri area of district Udhampur today.
The police said that on the basis of a complaint lodged by one Mohd Shafi, resident of Kunja (Loran) in Tehsil Mandi, about kidnapping of the young girl, a police party from Loran under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Poonch, Shahid Nahim raided several hideouts and today managed to recover the girl from the house of one Salim Mohd, resident of Dubi Gali (Moungri) in Pancheri tehsil.
The girl after Medical examination was handed over to the family at Loran. The accused has been arrested. Further investigation was in progress.
