JAMMU, Jan 3: Members of J&K Khidmat Centres Association here today demanded their absorption in J&K Bank as regular employees.
In a press conference here today the Association leader Tehseen Hussain stated that in the year 2009 Khidmat Centres were started by J&K Bank with the assurances that these centres will become the centres of participation for the public.

He also said that initially J&K Bank had promised to route G2C (Government to Customer), B2C (Business to Customer) and B2B (Business to Business) services through Khidmat Centres but the same never happened.
The Association leader also said that this negligence has put career of many well educated youth at risk so the Bank should engage those associated with these Centres as employees in J&K Bank.
Association leaders also claimed that in a meeting with the then Chairman of the Bank on May 13, last year positive signals were given to the demand of employment in the Bank for those associated with Khidmat centres.
