SAMBA, Jan 30: MP Rajya Sabha, Gulam Ali Khatana inaugurated a state of the art hardware showroom Aracot Constructions at NH 44, Sarore Adda near here, today.
Gulam Ali appreciated the efforts of proprietor Aracot Constructions Mehboob Alam for opening a hardware store with large scale variety like Kohler, Hindware, Berger, RECM etc. He said that the district Samba is the fastest growing and expanding area and the availability of branded hardware and sanitary ware was being felt by the local residents.
He further said that with two industrial estates in the district and setting up of AIIMS, Vijaypur and Central University of Jammu in the vicinity, Samba district is sure to witness a construction and employment boom and opening of such stores will certainly cater to the needs of the people at their doorstep.
Khatana said that it is very good for our Jammu and Kashmir that locals come forward and start new ventures. It also helps in fighting unemployment and serving the neglected areas.
The owner of the Aracot Constructions, Mehbooba Alam complimented the MP for inaugurating the store and the encouraging words. He conducted a tour of the premises and inspected the various items on display. Later MP Gulam Ali met a delegation of SPOs who apprised him of their problems including lowering of wages by the UT Government. He assured them to take up the issue with the concerned authorities.
