JAMMU, June 30: In Jammu University, Prof Keshav Sharma, Registrar, has been appointed as new Dean Academic Affairs (DAA) while Prof Meenakshi Kilam, Director Quality Assurance, has been assigned the responsibility of Registrar.
The minor reshuffle at top level was affected following superannuation of Prof Desh Bandhu of the Department of Commerce, who was also acting as Dean Academic Affairs, JU.
Prof Keshav Sharma, who is Dean of Business Studies and senior most Dean in Jammu University, shall now act as the Dean Academic Affairs, in addition to his own duties with effect from July 1, 2017.
Similarly, Prof Meenakshi Kilam has been assigned the responsibility of Registrar, in addition to her own duties as Director DIQA.
Prof Desh Bandhu, who attained the age of superannuation today, shall act as Consultant (Admission) till finalization of admissions this year, on account of the innovations introduced in the current admission process, says an order, issued today by Jammu University.
