JAMMU, Nov 11: Recalling the contribution of women in many fields, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), general secretary (Org), Ashok Kaul today said that women are not less than men and they have contributed significantly in the party from the time of its inception. He also expressed the hope that they will keep working continuously for the growth of the organizational base with in the society.
Ashok Kaul who chaired a meeting of State office bearers and district presidents of BJP’s Mahila Morcha led by its State president, Rajni Sethi here today appreciated the efforts of Mahila Morcha activists during recently concluded elections. He said that every single Mahila Morcha activist has worked tirelessly to contribute in the party’s accomplishment. He said that the Morcha has achieved success in mobilizing the women folk but added that their job is not over yet. He prompted Morcha activists to take a cue from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and his unremitting selfless efforts for the development of nation.
Kaul, prompted Morcha leaders to share their experiences of the organizational working, especially while they were allotted field jobs by the party. A number of Mahila Morcha State office bearers shared their experiences and also discussed various organizational issues with the top party leadership.
Former Morcha State president & former Minister, Priya Sethi, Morcha State general secretaries, Sanjita Gupta, Shailja Gupta and Updesh Andotra, along with other senior Morcha leaders were also present in the meeting.
State president, Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi complimented the BJP leadership for giving true representation to women folk in the organizational as well administrative levels. She said that many important women issues have been resolved under the leadership of Modi Government and thus this period can be easily termed as golden era in modern times for women.
Sethi, assured the organizational general secretary that the Mahila Morcha will also leave no stone unturned for extending the base of the party with in all the sections of the society. She also complimented all the Morcha leaders for their active participation in the meeting.
