KATHUA, Nov 27: District administration Kathua today sealed three stone crushers which were running illegally in various areas of the district.
As per reports, a team headed by District Mineral Officer, (DMO), Kathua, Er. B.R Bhagat along with Tehsildar Nagri, Surinder Kour, Executive Engineer, PDD, Kathua, Mohd Shafi and police officials on the direction of DC, Kathua, Rohit Khajuria raided the premises of M/S Magnum Stone crusher at Village Pandori, Nagri on the bank of Ujh river , M/s R.K Stone Crusher and M/s Shree Ram Stone Crusher both at Sahar Khad, Kathua which were operating illegally. The team sealed all the three stone crushers on spot.
The electric supply of these crushers has also been snapped. The team directed the proprietors and managers of these stone crushers not to operate them till further orders.
