KARGIL, Sept 20: All Kargil Transport Association, Ladakh demanded UT level road permits, timely renewal of permits and ‘one permit for UT’.

Association president, Advocate Riyaz Ahmad Khan led a rally from TCP Kargil to LAHDC Secretariat Kargil in support of the long pending demands.
LAHDC Kargil, Executive Councilor Mubarak Shah, social activist Sajjad Kargili, representatives of Jamiyat Ullama Isna Ashriya Kargil also joined the rally of drivers/ transport operators and owners .
On behalf of CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan, Mubarak Shah assured the protestors that the issue will be taken with UT Administration on priority basis to resolve at the earliest.
Religious organization Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, Kargil also extended its support to the Taxi owners and drivers for this cause and said for entire UT only one permit be issued.
