JAMMU, Aug 17: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM), led by its president Sunil Dimple held anti-Pak rally, burnt flags and effigies of Nawaz Sharief for violation of the ceasefire, killing innocent citizens and injuring many by unprovoked firing by Pakistan.
The protest was also held for the arrest of the separatist leaders, Darakshan Andrabi, Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani, Yasin Malik and others for celebrating Pakistan Independence Day on Indian soil in the Valley, holding anti India rallies, raising the pro- Azadi slogans by the JKLF and the Hurriyat conference waving ISIS and Pakistan flags in Kashmir and in other parts of the State.
Dimple urged upon the Prime Minister to give befitting reply to Pakistan and stop the Indo- Pak talks as the talks and terror attacks can not go together.
Dimple attacked Chief Minister Mufti Mohmmad Sayeed and other leaders of his party for adopting the criminal silence on the violation of the ceasefire, killing of the border villagers and migration from LoC villages.
He expressed solidarity with the families living on the LoC and sympathies with those who lost their lives due to Pakistan firing and demanded ex gratia relief of Rs 10 lakh to those who lost lives due to Pakistan shelling and mortars and compensation to the injured.
He demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to liberate PoK from Pakistan.
