JAMMU, Apr 30: Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) today demanded CBI enquiry into Rassana rape and murder case, and slammed national media for wrong reporting in the case.
Addressing a press conference here at party headquarters, national vice president, Rajesh Kesri said that it is unfortunate that national media depicted wrong picture of case which has badly hurt the sentiments of people of State in general and people of Jammu in particular.
Kesri asserted that justice in Rassana case is not possible without CBI probe.
With every passing day, the justification for the people’s demand for CBI probe gets further strengthened. He said that there is every possibility that some innocents might suffer heavily if the report of the Crime Branch is treated as final.
“There are many loop holes in it which the general public of the area wants to be re-investigated by CBI. Many times it has happened that some persons declared as offenders by the local police have been found innocent by the CBI”, he added.
He also demanded that victim must get justice and real culprits must be punished.
