JU’s Kishtwar Campus introduces PGDCA Course

KISHTWAR, Oct 4: Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu, today introduced prestigious PGDCA Course, thus becoming one of the big campuses in Jammu region which now offers four important regular courses at the people’s door steps.
The Courses which are being run by the Kishtwar Campus include M Sc IT, M Sc Geology (H&SD), MA Kashmiri and now PGDCA.
The Course was formally inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar  Mohammed Saleem who in his address congratulated Vice-Chancellor, Jammu University Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar  for introducing course. He said that the technical course will definitely help the students to get jobs in Government as well as in Private sector.
Earlier, in his welcome address Director Kishtwar Campus, Prof Shohab Inayat Malik threw light on the activities of Kishtwar Campus. He also informed that on November 3 and  November 4, 2012, for the first time in the history of Kishtwar Campus, a two day National Seminar  is being organized where top most academicians of Information Technology  will represent their research papers on the topic, “Trends in Information Technology and its Application in Industry”.
Later-on, the induction party was also held in which the DC inducted the fresh students of M Sc IT and Geology (H&SD).
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Pardeep Singh, Teaching Assistant in the Department of IT, while the vote of thanks was presented by Dr Kuldeep Kumar, Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Geology (H&SD).
