Srinagar, Oct 4: Police today booked two hardcore stone pelters under Public Safety Act (PSA) and sent to Kot Balwal Jail in Jammu.
Police said that Sajad Ahmad Geelani of Pandaan, Nowhatta and Haaris Ahmad Langoo of Gojwara were booked under PSA today. “Both of them have been lodged in Kote Balwal Jammu”, police added.
Police said that Sajad Ahmad Geelani, son of Nazir Ahmad Geelani of Pandaan, Nowhatta is involved in case FIR Number 27/10, 54/11, 60/11, 38/12 54/10, 78/2008 of Police Station Khanyar.
The Police further said that Haaris Ahmad Langoo son of Abdul Rashid resident of Gojwara is involved in case FIR Numbers 47/10,54/ 11,55/11,53/ 12,38/12 in Police Station Khanyar.
Police said that some miscreants today pelted stones at Saraf Kadal and Kawdara and blocked the road at Nowhatta and Rajouri Kadal.
