Jugal demands increase in wages of Kalakote coalmine workers

JAMMU, Aug 2: Jugal Kishore Sharma Member Lok Sabha from Jammu -Poonch Parliamentary Constituency demand increase in wages of Kalakote coalmine workers of his Constituency.
The MP raised the issue in the Lok Sabha today. Jugal, while speaking in LS said that Kalakote area in district Rajouri has abundance of coal and coalmines are setup in the area for streamlining the work to extract coal. But the workers working in these coalmines are leading a miserable life due to very low wages. They have also to suffer with the diseases like Asthma and others cause due working in these mines.
He said that they are paid very less even Rs 150 as labour which is very low. Jugal urged that necessary order should be issued by Governor so that their wages should be increased and proper wages should be paid, they can lead their life happily and study of their children should be continued.
