Jugal asks BJP to clear stand on CM’s remarks on Art 370

JAMMU, Jan 31: Congress Legislators Jugal Kishore Sharma from Reasi and Naresh Gupta from Bhaderwah today asked the BJP members in the Upper House to clear their stand on the Article 370 in context of the remarks of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in the Legislative Assembly that those trying to raise issue of Article 370 are `anti-nationals’.
Jugal Kishore stood up when the Chairman started the business with the Question Hour in the Upper House. The Congress member said article 370 has remained ideology of the BJP since last more than 60 years. Towering BJP leader Shyama Parsad Mukherjee has given supreme sacrifices for it. Pt Prem Nath Dogra and other top leaders waged long struggle for the same. It has remained the core issue of the BJP leadership.
The Chief Minister has termed all those raising bogey of article 370 as anti-nationals. They are in the Government with the PDP in J&K. They must clear their stand and also tell weather the Govt in place is anti-national. Naresh Gupta sought reply from the Govt on the remarks of CM. BJP member Ashok Khajuria stood up and had brief spat with the Congress members over the issue, but the BJP minister referred to remain silent over the remarks.
