JAMMU, Dec 29: Jammu University Vice-Chancellor Prof Manoj K Dhar today launched the e-version of the University Magazine ‘Campus Bytes’, a bi-annual magazine of JU, which showcases academic, research, sports, cultural, extension, and outreach activities for increased awareness, improved interaction, and integration among the university fraternity and the outside world.
Besides, the achievements of students and scholars in a wide range of regional, national and international competitions and voluntary community services (NSS) are highlighted in the magazine.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor mentioned that ‘Campus Bytes’ unfolds JU’s vision of innovation, fortitude, purpose, direction, collaboration, and excellence being realized in the remarkable work of the students, scholars, faculty, officers, and alumni. The Vice-Chancellor further mentioned that the e-version of ‘Campus Bytes’ will ensure wider readership and visibility of the achievement of all the stakeholders of the University.
On the occasion, Gourav Sharma and Shanker Dass were felicitated for their contribution in ensuring the excellent publication of the University. Members of the editorial board of ‘Campus Bytes’: Prof AnupamaVohra (Convener), Dr Sarika Manhas, Dr Sandeep Arya, Dr Shallu Sehgal, Dr Hema Gandotra, Dr Sunil Kumar, Dr Harleen Kaur, along with Dr Anik Gupta, Director IT, and Vinod Parihar from Center for IT, who provided the logistics for the e-launch were also present on the occasion.
