JAMMU, Dec 29: The members of the J&K High Court Bar Association today took out a protest rally from J&K High Court Complex Janipur (Jammu) to Maharaja Hari Singh Ji’s statue at Tawi Bridge under the presidentship of M K Bhardwaj (senior advocate).
All the members of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu abstained from work in all the Courts including the High Court of J&K, Commissions & Tribunal, etc and while raising slogans in support of their demands, moved from High Court Complex to Tawi Bridge in the form of a rally to press the Government to fulfill their demands.

M K Bhardwaj, while addressing the protesting lawyers, spoke in detail in support of their genuine demands which included construction of multi-storey building for housing registration work, CAT, DRT and Tribunal within Court premises and establishment of Consumer Forums, Consumer Commission and Human Rights Commission in the Court premises.
Bhardwaj appealed all the members of the legal fraternity of J&K and civil society to get united for any struggle in future, in case their demands are not fulfilled. While addressing the media, Bhardwaj urged upon the Government to resolve all the demands/issues of the legal fraternity as well as so as to give relief to the legal fraternity as well as civil society immediately.
The office Bearers of J&K High Court Bar Association who participated in the protest rally include Mohinder Pal Singh Pali, Surjeet Singh Andotra, Aditya Sharma, Amandeep Singh, Rohit Sharma, Gagandeep Singh, Yaseer Farooq Khan, Karanjeet Singh Johal, Naresh Kumar, Vikram Sharma, Pardeep Majotra, Ravinder Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Manjeet Sarkaria, Navpret Singh, Harpreet Singh, Rahul Sharma, Gagan Kohli, Ajay Vaid and many others.
