JAMMU, July 30: Coordination Committee of Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union and Kashmir University Ministerial Secretarial Association today extended support to the ongoing strike of the Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association.
Decision in this regard was taken during an executive body meeting of the Coordination Committee, held here today under the chairmanship of Abdul Rashid Mir (president KUMSA). The meet informed that the JUNTEU and KUMSA also represented the case for the up gradation of pay scales of ministerial cadre to their respective Universities under joint banner. The body further informed that in neighbouring States the pay scales of ministerial cadre has enhanced a long time ago along with up gradation of qualification of these post, but this has not being done in J&K.
