JAMMU, Apr 12: The Postgraduate Department of Commerce in University of Jammu, organized a placement drive in collaboration with Nutraj VKC Pvt Ltd., Bari Brahmana, for the students of M Com IV Semester.
The drive aimed at providing promising career opportunities in key domains such as Human Resource Management (HRM), Finance, and Marketing.
A total of seven students from M Com IV Semester participated in the placement process. Out of these, four students have been successfully placed as Financial Analysts, while two students secured positions in the Human Resources department at the company’s Head Office in Noida. The remaining three students have been offered roles in the Operations Department at the company’s Jammu branch.
JU Vice-Chancellor, Prof Umesh Rai, congratulated the students and appreciated the department for its consistent efforts in strengthening industry-academia linkages, stating that such initiatives significantly enhance the career prospects of students.
Prof Jeevan Jyoti, Head of the Department, highlighted that the department remains committed to nurturing talent and ensuring quality placement opportunities for its students.
