JTC for timely supply of ration

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 2: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in its meeting today expressed concern over the delay in supply of ration by CAPD Department in Jagti camp.
The meeting which was presided over by the president of JTC Shadi Lal Pandita alleged that over 300 families in the camp have not been given the ration of December so far. The main cause of this is that the ration is supplied in the camp during last five days of the month.
He demanded that the ration supply be kept open for about 20 days so that every family gets ration in time and no one faces hardships on account of the same. Pandita also demanded enhancement of cash relief, implementation of employment package in letter and spirit, compensation to orchardists, agriculturists and removal of encroachments from migrants land as well as shrines in Valley.
