JAMMU, July 30: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) in a meeting today has reiterated its demand for establishment of three townships in Kashmir valley for the settlement of displaced Pandits.
The meeting said that the three townships be created one in erstwhile Anantnag district in South Kashmir, another in erstwhile Srinagar district of Central Kashmir and third in erstwhile Baramulla district in North Kashmir.
Besides, he demanded six Assembly seats and three Parliament seats for the displaced Pandits in Valley.
The other demands listed in the meeting including hike in monthly cash relief to Rs 25000 per family, compensation for losses suffered in last over three decades of turmoil by the community, free ration for pensioners and class fourth employees, 20,000 job package for displaced unemployed youth and filling up of vacant posts under PM package announced in 2008 and 5000 class four posts for the community youth.
