YS&S inks MoU with CPWD

LEH, July 30: Department of Youth Service and Sports, Ladakh signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CPWD for laying ‘Synthetic track and Astroturf’ of football in Open Stadium and construction of a Gymnasium Hall at NDS Sport Complex, here today.
The MoU was signed by Secretary, Youth Services and Sports, Ravinder Kumar and Chief Engineer/Executive Director, CPWD, Union Territory of Ladakh.
The CPWD shall carry out the entire planning and construction of the project including project management supervision and related services.
The construction of synthetic track, Astroturf and Gymnasium Hall will boost sports infrastructure in Ladakh as budding players now will have access to facilities that would make them competitive on the world stage.
