JTC, SKF protest enters 425th day

JAMMU, Dec 1: The Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) protest has entered 425th day today at Jagti township. President, JTC and SKF, Shadi Lal Pandita, while, addressing the protesters alleged that the Government is totally non serious in solving the problems of the displaced people from Valley.
He justified the demand regarding hike in monthly cash relief from Rs 13000 to Rs 25000 per month and demanded that the demand be conceded without further delay. Highlighting other demands he said a new job package of 20,000 jobs with 5000 class fourth posts be immediately announced for displaced people and three separate townships be established in Valley for their permanent rehabilitation.
Besides, he demanded compensation for over aged youth and on spot recruitment drive for displaced youth be held in camp and non camp areas in police and para military forces.
