JAMMU, Dec 1: A delegation of Kashmiri Displaced Diaspora Front led by Kaka Ji Bhan met secretary, DMRRR and highlighted the problems of displaced Pandits before him.
The delegation demanded updating of Aadhar of all family members and Commissioner/ Secretary DMRRR assured extension of time to same.
It also highlighted the problem of over aged displaced youth and demanded self employment scheme for them be initiated with Government loans. The delegation also demanded correction in the names of children in ration cards etc and demanded garbage dumping site be provided in Jagti township.
The delegation also met Chef Engineer, Executive Engineer and AEE R&B and demanded renovation of quarters at Jagti township.
They demanded that the work be monitored properly. The Chief Engineer issued directives to concerned Executive Engineer to start blacktopping of the lanes and by lanes at Jagti. Ravi Kumar Bhat president, Ravinder Kumar Raina, Sameer Saproo were the other members of the delegation.
